I wanted to start writing about my choral singing life as well as my fiddle practice. So far it's been hard to write (as in I want to write, but no words come). I want to explore a bit about that.
Singing is all about breathing and forming sounds. Choral singing takes that a step further - so that we as a group are breathing together, blending, and forming a unified sound together with everyone. Of course, the music might need individual parts to be distinguished, or to have the choir take a background role while soloists shine, but the intent of choral singing is to sing together to each other while to an audience at the same time.
A lot of words saying very little.
