Love this sound - Flying Home to Shelley

The Sound Accord https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3f3fSJrAc0 playing Flying Home to Shelley by Paul Gitlitz http://www.glitchless.net/ followed by Pressed for Time, a pipe tune by Gordan Duncan.

I'm going to learn this!

I tried a little bit of the first part of Flying Home to Shelley - it's a reciprocating rhythm, the hard part is the 3rd finger on the D, while jumping back and forth with different fingers on the A - in Laura Courtese's teaching video she's holding down the D with her 3 and not moving it at all! It's hard to get a clean sound but that's what technique is for - If I learn this properly my technique is going to go through the roof!

The bowing is also really cool. I've seen other versions where the bowing is quite flat, with fewer stresses. The hallmark of Laura's sound is the pulse, and that really attracts me to her style of playing.
